This was one incredible read! When I bought this book it had 70+ 5 Star reviews. I wanted to give this author another chance, as I did not like Somebody Else. I disliked it so much I did not purchase No Body Else. But I ended up really liking this book. With the small exception of Ramsey calling Jordyn darling. It got to the point where is stopped being an endearment but a little be annoying. But it had no bearing on my review.This was definitely a slow burn romance. It was deeply felt and one I wasn't prepared for. It was simple. It was entertaining. I was completely enthralled. I had a hard time with Keith (Jordyn's baby daddy). I am sure this is as close as you get to real life. I disliked him. He was evil. He was ugly. I don't have a baby daddy nor do I have children. But I can assume this happenes in real life. The struggle, it was real. The torment. The fighting. I hated it. But it was a necessary evil to put this story together. I liked Ramsey and Jordyn together. I liked that he brought her into his family. I had mixed emotions and yet I am satisfied. I am really glad there was no proposal. I think it would have degraded the story a bit. But the hint was there. That worked.I believe this author has redeemed himself and I am willing to purchase future works. I'm really glad I read this. It put things into perspective. I really enjoyed this read.Grabbed your heart and never lets go Where to start? First off, I LOVE Jaxson Kidman!! He wraps you in his arms and never lets go as he weaves his stories around you. You feel all the emotions of each character. You'll cry, laugh, yell, sigh, and moan with each of them. The emotions in "Every Other Weekend" are raw and at times brutal, but you will still keep reading. This is book is not one that can easily been put down until you get to the very last page which will leaving you wanting much more (does not end in a cliffhanger). Jordyn is a single mother burning the candle at both ends to make a good life for her son, Sam. Ramsey is a very hard working man, but feels that he can't escape his past. From their very first meeting, you instantly want them to get together. Within a few chapters you will actually be urging them to let the past stay in the past. You will fall in love with Ramsey immediately and admire Jordyn's fierceness. Her son, Sam, will grab your heart and not let go. This is another HIT for Jaxson Kidman. Get his book and curl up in your favorite reading place because you will not put it down until you end to the end.
