An excellent science book My granddaughter is a big fan of this book and particularly enjoyed the descriptions of the various ecosystems.Fun and fascinating! I love this book. The illustrations are gorgeous. There are little quippy jokes mixed in with well-researched information about ecosystems, animal behavior, trophic systems, anthropogenic impacts, and more. As a person currently applying to Master’s programs in ecology, I highly recommend this book. It’s a fun way to remind yourself of the basis of ecosystem science, but more that that, it’s a fantastic way to introduce kids to ecology!Beautiful book! Awesome artwork. Love books that use amazing art to help learn about things that other books often present in rather dry ways.
