A MUST read for couples! My husband and I love this book so much! We got to see the Gottman’s speak about this book when it first came out- which made us love the book even more! I am a huge fan of the Gottman’s and have read many of their books, however this one is definitely a new favorite! It’s reads super easy, and we bring it with us on our date night. They give guidelines for the date, meaningful conversations and recap at the end of each chapter. Adding an intentional date every week, or even once a month can strengthen your relationship! I love that this book is for everyone, not just married couples.Wish We Had This Book Years Ago! This is an awesome book and I can't more highly recommend it. Every couple can benefit from the conversations that this book helps create between you. This book also put words to some of the frustrations that each of us have had in trying to communicate together. Now, we have language and a method to discuss things without argument or tension. So helpful!Great Book as all of Gottman's book I highly recommend this book to anyone who is contemplating marriage or even the ones that have gotten married. It's simple to read with plenty of exercises to practice with your partner. Marriage could be a blessing and can also be hell, that's why I recommend you to grab this book and read its whole content before you make any decisions. John and Julie Gottman have the largest research in the USA and probably on the planet regarding couples functioning.

I enjoyed reading the many situations where sexual tension builds between this couple, as the author made these scenes amusing yet also convincing. Their discussions are often filled with wit, yet there are moments where sincerity backs their words. Sven is a wonderful hero, as he is honest and caring. He and Mary are fun-loving individuals, and I had a great time watching the ups and downs of their relationship. A glimpse of what is currently happening to Mary’s sisters made me want to discover the events taking place in their own upcoming stories.Enjoyed Fast paced enjoyable Christmas story. It seemed the characters moved fast in the relationship, but who am I to judge.A great holiday romance. Very impressed. I was looking for a good holiday book to pass the time it is that time of year after all. So I pick this up and gave it a read. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. That everything you could be looking for in a book to read this time of year it's got some good romance it's sexy. Without giving any of the plot away all I can suggest is pick it up and give it a try for yourself it's great book you won't regret it. Have a good read and enjoy.

Chilling The suspense was almost more than I could bare. I knew someone like Jared and he was portrayed accurately. I also knew someone like Rosemary and Jared’s wife. So gullible. Not brave enough to trust themselves. Good bookCouldn't finish this one Ugh. I couldn't finish this book. There is nothing wrong with the writing but the plot and the characters are so flawed, so unbelievable. For example, breaking out of maximum security prison is apparently a really common thing where these characters live. I swallowed the first prison break as a necessary, albeit lazy, plotting device but then another character (unrelated to the first) breaks out of another, high security prison. Really??? This is just an example of the implausible plot twists and character development that cripples this book. Add to that cliche characters -control freak husband, victimized heroine and I couldn't NOT put it down.So suspenseful. Just when you think you have it solved....bam, twist....bam, turn. One surprise after another. I always try to create an ending when I hit a turn but she knocked them out of the ballpark each time. Do not miss this book.
